HerField: Beautiful TICINO

I love nothing more than travelling. Just pack your most important things and let’s go. Whether city trips, camping trips or beach holidays….what ever, I just love it! And this is exactly what we did end of july. Just very spontaneously 2 days to Ticino, only a 3 hours drive. Already the drive to get there is just stunning (I got to say it: Switzerland is really one of the most beautiful countries in this world! Crazy!). From the more hectic life in Zurich town, you get in your car and drive a few hours, passing mountains, lakes and valleys…..and get out in the southern part of Switzerland. Hello palms, pizza, pasta e vino ;-).

The first day we decided to go to the valley of Verzasca. Everyone who has already had the pleasure to be there knows: it’s just wow, wow, wow. So breath-taking. The water is turquoise and crystal clear (and freezing cold!). Let’s just dive in and cool down a bit. No wonder, it’s about 32 degrees outside.

For the night, we decided to go camping. That’s what it’s all about, right? In the evening just cozy, walking around, enjoying the best lasagne in town and for the perfect finish a yammi gelato ;-).

Ich liebe einfach nichts mehr als Reisen. Einfach seine 7 Sachen packen und los. Ob Städtetrips, Campingausflüge, Strandferien….what ever, ich liebe es! Und genau das haben wir Ende Juli gemacht. Einfach ganz spontan 2 Tage ins 3-Stunden entfernte Tessin. Nur schon die Fahrt dorthin ist ein reiner Augenschmaus (Ich muss es einfach sagen; die Schweiz ist echt eines der wunderschönsten Länder dieser Welt! Unfassbar). Es ist einfach eindrücklich. Vom eher hektischen Stadtleben in Zürich setzt man sich ins Auto, fährt ein paar wenige Stunden, vorbei an Bergen, Seen, Tälern…. und kommt im südländischen Teil der Schweiz wieder raus. Hallo Palmen, Pizza, Pasta e vino ;-).

Am ersten Tag fuhren wir rauf ins Verzasca Tal. Also jeder, der schon mal dort war weiss genau; wow wow wow. Es ist echt atemberaubend schön da. Das Wasser türkisblau und glasklar (und eiskalt!). Und ab ins kühle Nass, was für eine Erfrischung bei diesen 32 Grad.

Übernachtet wurde auf dem Campingplatz. Genau so gehört es sich auch ^^. Am Abend dann gemütlich in Ascona rumschlendern, die beste Lasagne überhaupt geniessen und zum Abschluss ein Gelato, mmmh :).
